Having to be a UA customer for years now, i am really disappointed with these ! They are completely see through; you literally have to go with wearing no under wear on in order to use these. They of course to not pass the squat pass. Only wore them once. Bring back the original quality of UA not the see through. Really disappointed. BEWARE UA IS NOW MAKING A LOT OF THESE SEE THROUGH so make sure you purchase quality not quantity :) GoodLuck ladies !
Fit is not so true. I am on the fence with these Capris. I wear either an XS or S. Based on the reviews I ordered a Small. I am a Personal Trainer...5'2 110lbs. Very lean. I find these to be uncomfortable. I own over 30 pairs of UA capris and leggings. These are saggy in the crotch...What happened to the "original" heatgear capris and leggings? They were by far the best. I still have some and want more. Compression fit....UA logo on the right thigh. Great fit. Always keep their shape. The material has changed over the years and they don't fit the same. Can we bring the ORIGINAL back please?????
I love these capris, but they do run small. I normally wear a medium and had to return the mediums I purchased for a large. The return process was smooth and easy.
I usually purchase Under Armour only since I live in Baltimore and want to support anyone willing to invest in my city. These pants made me feel obese since they were way to tight. I exercise at local gyms or if the weather, Baltimore, is permitting, outside.
Overall, these are great capris. I have large muscular calves and it's hard to find capris that don't roll up to my knee when I wear them. They stay on my calves where I put them and don't move. To me, that is heaven!
The only thing that I don't love, is when I first put them on and did the squat test, I felt some of the threads rip in the crotch. When I looked, I didn't see any "rip" but I'm worried the seam may have weakened.
As far as the fit goes, my Tru-Fit size is a medium, and with the compression fit, they are nice and tight. But with this, the crotch feels a little bit low even when the waistband is that my waist which gives the slight sensation that they may fall down. But I believe a large would probably be too big
I bought two pairs in different patterns. When I tried them on I loved them! They fit great and were comfortable. However, the first time I wore them for a run they began to fall down/ become very saggy in the butt. To the point that I was continuously hiking them up. It was extremely annoying and distracting. I wish I could return both pairs but I already ripped out the care tags...
So many great prints to choose from, I love rotating these in with my regular black gym leggings. They do run slightly smaller than other UA capris and pants. One size up fits perfectly (I'm usually a medium and got a large, they're not too large).
I love Under Armour gear but, with these capris you'll need to go up a size. I'm solidly in the Medium range for tops and bottoms in Under Armour both regular and compression fit. I'm 5'9" and 155 lbs with an athletic build. However, in these capris I had to go up to a large. The medium fit but was uncomfortably tight. Plus these have a weird low crotch. The waist is a bit big in the large but they stay up for workouts and squats. And, speaking of squats, Under Armour you have to do better with the sheer factor. Any of the colors that have a white or light colored inside of the fabric become sheer in the squat position. It doesn't matter how dark the outer fabric, if the inside is light, the pants become sheer when you move into a deep squat or dead row. I remedy by wearing nude colored undergarments but, I shouldn't have to. For a company that prides itself on making high tech performance wear, this is a no-brainer. I bought several pairs of these, even in colors that I knew would be sheer just because I liked the look.
According to the "true fit" guide I should have ordered a size small, I am 5' 7" 138lb and wear a size 6 in American Eagle jeans. I have other UA compression leggings in a size medium, which all fit me perfectly! So I went with my past experiences and ordered a medium in these - they fit like a glove. I'm so happy I didn't go with the "true fit" recommendation. I honestly don't think I would have been able to even squeeze into a small, much less run in them.
These are a tad see-through, so if I was going to wear them for weight lifting I would be hesitant to do squats in them. But I only plan to wear them for running/hiking so they will be perfect.
I think your "true fit" guide could be improved for more accurate results UA.
I am pear-shaped and usually wear UA medium sized pants (for reference, I'm 5'6", 126lb, wear a 26-27 waist or size 2 in regular clothing). This capri was true-to-size for me, but runs on the smaller side probably because of the compression. It fit well on me except the crotch hangs a bit lower than expected (this didn't interfere with my squats/leg workout or elliptical routine). The colors are great and I did not have any issues with mine being transparent.
