Love this material so much! Some of the other reviews mention no support. I train long distance and really need breathable fabric for hot summer months and don't like being squeezed in to tight support pants. These fit so good and don't irritate my sensitive skin. Please make more pant styles with this fabric. I would love a full pant too! I don't feel the sweat because they let me breath!!
I was excited to get these, and once they came, I really like the fit. But I had to return the first pair because it got a hole at the seam after only 2 wears. UA sent me a second pair and free return label. I wore the second pair once, washed them (followed the instructions!), and now I see a hole at a different seam! The other negative is that if you're really going to sweat, you will see all the sweat through the material. Although they are very flattering, I would not buy these again or recommend them to a friend. Very disappointed, especially considering the high price tag.
I am hopping on the positive feedback train on this item. My initial thought was "wow they are thin", but they are not see through at all! Personally, I love the material and the seams are comfortable as well for they do not rub or cause irritation.
This item is very breathable and stays in place. First I had wore them for run. I do not find that they stretch with wear. I didn't have a need to tug them up. I have also wear them coaching lacrosse and while running around with the kids, the capri even stays in place below the knee.
Whether you are looking for leggings for running or for activity that involves more lateral movement, I would recommend these for both forms of fitness.
The first thing I was concerned about with these capris is the possibility of them being see-through. The fabric is very thin. So I tried them with striped underwear, different pairs, etc. And they are not sheer! Confirmed by buddies at the gym.
The fabric takes a bit of getting used to precisely because of the thinness. They are so light weight it feels as if you are wearing nothing. It actually feels better than wearing stockings or pantyhose, and most of us are used to wearing leggings that feel like sausage casing - so I say give these a chance.
So far, have done one workout in them, which included sit-ups, burppies, running and squats (every movement basically), they move really well. This was also a surprise, the fabric actually stretches. They feel good and your legs don't feel clammy after the workout.
Gave them a 4 because want to see how they hold up, and am not 100% crazy about the mesh panels. I'd love to see these in all just the CoolSwitch fabric (if they have these let me know). I suspect the mesh inserts might not hold up as well as the CoolSwitch Fabric.
Length is fine for me - wanted them just below the knees for summer and that's where they are.
Give them a try.
Ok, so I bought these because they look super cute online and they do on me. But I do have a complaint. Were the white-ish/sliver-ish color meets the black (black005) the stitching is kind of itchy. I'm not sure if it's on me or not because I actually wear a size small in compression clothing. But I purposely buy medium in compression because I prefer the next to skin feel over the tight-ish feel. The wash made it a little better but you can still feel it when you put them on, though I haven't really notice it when I get into my workouts. It's still a con. But other than that I really like them.
Extremely disappointed. The first time I work these capris, they ripped along one of the seams. They are incredibly poorly made, particularly for the price.
I got a pair of these tights and a matching tank top for Mother's Day. The size was perfect as was the colour (light blue). I'm a Medium. My husband told me that I was really going to like my gift & he was RIGHT! I wore the set to Zumba class today and got a lot of compliments. The tights are very comfortable and breathable. After class when I looked at the tights, I noticed a lot of snags! What a disappointment! I wouldn't recommend these tights to anyone. I have all sorts of UA tops & tights that have not worn like that. The idea behind the material and the style are in the right direction, but the fragility of the material is poor. I noticed from some other reviews that they've had the same problem.
Perhaps because I am 5'10" tall and weigh 135 pounds, the legs are too short, falling just below my knees. The legs are also too loose, not even snug, and will thus not stay down. The hip area is snug and offers great support, but there seems to be very little support in the legs or around the knees, which I happen to benefit from. I absolutely love the Coolswitch material and wish UA would make a full-length compression tight for summer wear. The pocket is very nice and helpful. Very sorry they did not work for me, but know others not wanting the compression will love them.
I just ran a marathon in these and found them to be exceptional. There is a good amount of compression; the capris stayed in place and the elastic waist did not slip down. The cool switch material is located where the colour blocking is. They are thin enough to be light & comfortable but I do not think they are see through. The pocket is a handy place to store a key.
I normally am a huge Under Armour fan, so these pants came as a huge disappointment.
I loved the design, so when I tried them on and found the material to be very thin I shrugged and thought "hey, this is Under Armour, they know how to make work out gear!" and bought them anyways. Big mistake.
I bought the size I always do, and they fit well. They were definitely very comfortable for the first few minutes in the change room. I worked out in them once, first finding that they did not stay in place the way my other Under Armour cropped leggings do - the bottom part kept riding up the leg and bunching around my knees, which unfortunately ruined the look of the great design and was super annoying while working out. Second, after I was done I noticed that they were fraying badly at the seams and had some threads pulling out at random spots on the leg.
Like I said, these were incredibly disappointing, especially compared to the amazing quality I'm used to from Under Armour. I'm actually kind of amazed that this product made it to stores.
