Believe the reviews on this one, this is a terrible effort on UA's part to produce a different version of the Charged Cotton shirt. It's obvious they are trying to save cost. The fabric is way thinner and not nearly as stretchy. I own about 10 original Charged Cotton shirts and I thought I would replace a few with this shirt...BIG mistake! I don't care how low they go on the price, DON'T buy it!
Please, PLEASE, bring back the original Charged Cotton, 95% COTTON shirts. They were awesome. These shirts are 57% cotton, but feel like a leisure suit.
I probably own over 200 pieces of UA clothing from running/hunting/golfing/fishing...etc and I have never been disappointed. I have 7 of the previous "charged" running shirts and love them. These new shirts look and feel extremely cheap and not comfortable at all. I bought 2 of them and I wish I didn't. I hope this isn't the new trend.
The orginal charged cotton tshirts are awesome. But this charged cotton is junk. UA changed the material of the shirt. Fabric is uncomfortable, not durable, and shrinks big time if u wash it. Its disappointing that UA changed a great product.
I have worn Charged Cotton products for years and have loved them! Hands down the most comfortable t-shirts, long sleeve t's, and tank tops I've ever had. Then...something changed. UA changed the design, fit, material etc. They're still called "Charged Cotton" but they are nowhere near the same. Please bring them back and I'll remain a LOYAL UA customer. Until then...I'll be shopping for other sports gear elsewhere.
Don't waste your money on these t-shirts. I bought two for my husband for Christmas, and they are already getting small holes in them. Obviously, the quality of UA's t-shirts has gone downhill. I wish posting pictures was an option so you could see the poor quality of these shirts.
I only wear the charged cotton t-shirts. I tried this new design out and it shrank way too much after washing. The original shirts had a better fit and did'the shrink nearly as bad.
I have owned other UA charged t-shirts for over a year and never had this issue. When I received this shirt last week I tried it on and it felt great. It was just the right size, and it seemed to be comparable to my other charged cotton UA t-shirts. Then I washed it.... that was apparently a mistake. The shirt shrunk from top to bottom by about two inches. Now when I wear the shirt, and I raise my arms above my head the bottom of the shirt raises above my belt line to about the level of my navel. Unlike the other shirt I bought at the same time as this one, it does not appear to have tightened. Meaning it still fits loose. This shirt if borderline unwearable for me unless I use it as a top layer with a longer shirt underneath. I am very unsatisfied with this purchase as I am limited in my comfort level of wearing it by itself. Your mileage may vary.
I love the original charged cotton shirts which are extremely hard to find, when I do find them in my size (large) I scoop them up.
These new shirts are a disgrace to under armour and I wish they would scrap them back for the old style.
This style is wayyy to thin, not as stretchy, sizing is inconsistent, the shirt itself is bad. The neck likes to "roll up" and the shirt seems to shrink every time it's washed.
I'm off to continue searching for original charged cotton tees.
I bought 8 of these, on sale, for work. I've been buying UA almost exclusively for more than a decade, and remember the original charged cotton. The resemblance between the original and this shirt ( or even charged cotton sportstyle) stops with the fact that they are both shirts. It's shorter and doesn't have the same elasticity. Anyone remember New Coke? Yeah, it's that bad. The shirts do not deserve to be called Charged Cotton. And perhaps, someone should be fired. Sounds harsh, but this is a major fail.
