I purchased one of these bags for specific use and loved it so much I bought another one for traveling and general use! I haul some pretty heavy tactical equipment in one bag, and the other is used for traveling and overnight trips. It's also very light while maintaining full structure. Slinging it on your shoulder or using it as a backpack are interchangeable. This bag's compartments think of everything without being overwhelming! You can even partition the inside of the bag using the provided dividers and they hold up against heavy use. My girlfriend uses this bag, as well, without it being too cumbersome for her to carry. Which is now why we have two! The only thing I would say is that this bag is a bit too big to use as a gym bag. There are better sized bags for that use.
