These shirts used to be great but you changed the design in the past year and now are way too long. Can you please bring back the old sizing and give the customer the choice if they want a tall T?
The shirt also starts pilling shortly after the first couple washes but I still found these to be great for working out. Will buy more if you fix the sizing (like everyone else complained about below)
Sooooooooo disappointed :( This was my go to t shirt, comfortable with the perfect fit - I have at least a dozen of them. Now the cut is way to baggy in the mid section, can’t even wear it after washing - great colors and good comfort but poor sizing - don’t waste your money until they fix the sizing issue or just buy a size or two smaller and hope it fits! Why UA would you fix something that wasn’t broke??
This was my go to t-shirt but no more. I have a closet full of these shirts but the last several that I picked up have a much fuller cut then my previous ones. I'm 6' 195# and I have been buying larges for years. There is always a small variation in the fit but nothing like the last several that I picked up. I actually measured the older style and the newer style by laying the shirts flat and measuring from seam to seam. The shoulder has the same width on both however the newer is 1.5" wider (3" total) in the mid section.
I'm not sure when UA changed the cut of this shirt but on me they have gone from Loose fit to Baggy fit. I'm sure there was some market analysis done where if they increased the width of the shirts they could sell to a broader market with more girth.
The baggy fit is not comfortable or attractive IMO so needless to say I'm looking for a new go to t-shirt!
I loved the original version of these, i have about 10. I've currently purchased 4 of these newer "SportStyle" versions and they just fit way too big, even with the size that I always wear. Only 1 fit me pretty good, but not like the first version of these charged cotton shirts. I honestly dont mind about the colors, they aren't all that bad. I agree with the other reviews, shirt fits inconsistent and will never ever be like the original Charged Cotton shirts that UA came out with. I wish they would have just kept them instead of trying to "fix" something that was never broken.
These were my favorite T-shirts but you've destroyed them. The new fabric is paper thin, uncomfortable and the fit is different. Just pure garbage at this point. Just bought six of them and, like an idiot, tossed the receipt before opening and wearing one. The other five will be going to goodwill. Shame.
I agree with the people that are saying the sizing is inconsistent. I just bought four of the Charged Cotton shirts, and, while they weren't all the Sportstyle, they were all Larges. Two of them were a little big, one was perfect, and the other almost seemed a little small. Also, while I agree that the material is different than the old Charged Cotton, I actually think these are more comfortable than the older material. To each his own, I suppose.
I would love to wear more UA shirts but my experience has been that the fit is too erratic to buy them without trying them on first, which is a PITA since I hate shopping. Because of their unpredictable fit I am reluctant to order online and am limited to the tiny selection at out local UA outlet store which generally only has one or two that I'd consider wearing, if they also happen to have it in my size. I really do not understand why this is because I've never experienced such a random fit with other clothing manufacturers.
Im writing this review because I've been looking all over for the cotton fitted tshirts under armor used to make, i purchased a couple years ago and they've been looong lasting, i was very pleased but when i realized that i needed to buy more nobody could help me to find em i guess they stopped making em or can you tell where to get em? All i can find is loose cotton
And i dont like the fabric of the other fitted ones.
What happened to charged COTTON? These shirts are less than 60% cotton, as opposed to 95% in the good ones you used to make. PLEASE bring back the original comfortable, doesn't feel like a leisure suit Charged Cotton gear. Even if it is at a higher price point, it will sell.
I seriously do not understand. Who is doing your marketing? Read the reviews here as compared to old one's The original charged cotton tee was exceptional and you replaced it with this stuff.
