I own at least 3 of these t-shirts and I love them. I just ordered 2 new ones same size, same order number but the neckline is lower, the sleeves are longer, and the shirt is wider.
The material is SUPER thin (I held the shirt up to the light and you could see through it!). The cut is also different from the older version - and the new cut is terrible. The sleeves are shorter and tighter. It also says that it is a loose cut, but because of the material, it clung to my body, which I didn't like. I also don't like the loop in the back of the shirt - it's just plain dumb and makes it look like the shirt is defective. I hate the new version - bring back the old one!
I have purchased these shirts in the past and they have fit great. I lost some weight so I ordered a small instead of a medium. The smalls are bigger than the mediums I have now from a couple years ago. They go down to about mid thigh. Way too long for me.
I was so excited to see Underarmour released plus sized activewear. I bought one of these shirts and one long-sleeved shirt. The colors were both nice, and true to web pictures. Based on the sizing chart, I sized up to be safe. I agree with another poster, it seems to run small. The fabric texture is a little cheap feeling too, but to be fair, the price point is lower than the brands I usually wear.
I own many UA short sleeve shirts. This was my first UA shirt with a crew neck.
I don't like the loop feature in the back of the neckline. The obvious twisting of fabric makes the shirt appear as if the neckline was not properly sewn.
There is no finishing on the back inside of the neckline.
Finally, the color of the shirt was not the shade of yellow I expected based on the picture on-line.
The back of this neck has a neck loop that rubs and bothers my neck. We need soft, smooth neck edges so not sure why this is even there?? I also would like the crew neck to be a little more open and lower as when I lay down while lifting weights it grabs my throat. I have many older T's from UA that were semi fitted and a medium length V neck and they were the BEST!! Bring them BACK.....
I’m 5’4” and the XS shirt was so long it went past my butt. If you want a long shirt this is a good one. I wanted something for shorts so not a winner. I returned it.
I don't sweat that much so I don't need a material that is really thin. I'm not comfortable with random people able to see my bra through my shirt. I did not do much but try it on so in terms of performance I cannot speak for. It's a good fit and contours well with curves. I have big boobs I wear a 34DD and I'm 5'2'', 120lbs. The smalls tend to bunch up at the top make the mediums are typically really loose fitting on me. I wish these types of tops were tailored more towards a women's body. The rest of my under armour shirts are smalls and when I do certain activities the fit can be snug at the chest.
Returned shirt because loop in the back looked like a defect in product only to find out it was meant to be there. Would not have ordered if I had known it was a loop on purpose. I don’t think a great number will actually hang it on a hook. Disappointed I can’t return because it was printed on. Seriously rethink this idea UA.
I got the navy and hi vis yellow. I had a grey tee. My older tee is thicker and softer. The two new ones are thinner and not as soft. The hi vis is nice to run or bike in. These are loose fitting so you can layer underneath. I wish there was a reflective UA on the back for evening activities. I mountain bike in these shorts as well. I have not yet used them in the heat of summer but they are thin and look to be a good option. Overall, get them on sale, and they are worth it for your activities.
