I really don't understand the piping on these, and I say that as someone who initially thought the piping was cute, until experiencing it in person. In contrast to the rest of the fabric, the piping is strangely stiff, with a mind of its own, sticking out from the leggings like tiny weird ridges/fins. They are not well integrated into the larger design, bending and bunching in awkward ways. I returned them, but I can see how the piping could be uncomfortable on a run, like another reviewer said. To be honest, the leggings otherwise seem great, but the way this aesthetic detail was poorly executed in material detail, to me, became an issue of substance, especially for the price/when other options exist.

These come up higher than the photos on the models and the waist is very tight. They cover my belly button entirely, which I thought wouldn't be the case based on the photos and that I ordered the petite and I'm 5'4" which is the tall end of petite, so if anything they should fit low on me. I'm in the process of returning them.

They are good but they are too big. I usually need a large but these I cannot run in because they would fall down

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The inner fleece makes these a great choice for winter. They are warm without being bulky. I sized up because I wanted them to fit more comfortably instead of compression-like, but I wish I would have ordered my regular size because they slip down a bit too much. Great for hanging around the house or for outdoor activity. I appreciate that tall inseams are offered in this product and would purchase again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] kept me plenty warm in a 25 degree run! I wish they would consider moving the pocket a little lower on the leg. It is right on the hip and is not quite long enough to completely cover a phone. The stitching on the side bunches up a bit.

The non-name brand fleece-lined leggings I purchase from stores have better and thicker fleece lining than these. These won’t keep you warm in 30-35 degree weather. I’m very disappointed.

I got these for winter running based on other reviews and am disappointed. It was nearly 40 degrees F - by mile 2 I could feel the piping detail digging into my cold legs with every footfall and did not stay in place (saggy crotch). I have other ColdGear I love for winter running, but these miss the mark. These felt more like a base layer than standalone leggings (as the external pocket suggests) or better for milder temps.

I got these for cold weather runs and very impressed. I did a 10 mile run in these and the waist stayed in place. I am a curvy 5'2" so the short length is perfect. The UA cold gear fabric is always great for cold and windy days, so I appreciate the compressive and warm stay put layer these leggings bring :) My only reason for giving them 4 instead of 5 stars is the pocket factor...would love for the pocket to be secure.
