Nice but runs small

I’m really short (4’10) and a little thicker (size5/6 in pants) so when I purchased these I got a small they came in and were super fitted unlike the picture where they were loose on the model. So I reordered a size M hopefully they fit!

Decent, but lining is weird

I got these in the sea-glass teal color which I love, but the white lining shows through completely. I know it’s there for modesty sake, but instead it makes it look like my underwear is showing through and I truly wouldn’t want to wear them outside. I might cut the lining out, since the outer shell really isn’t too sheer and my actual underwear is much less obviously showing through. The waistband is comfy, but if you want a looser fit, definitely size up. I got a large and while the thigh isn’t too tight, it definitely rides up just walking around my house. The pocket in the waistband will only comfortably fit a slim phone without a case, so that was a bit of a bummer too. Won’t be wearing these for running in public, but are comfy for working from home or maybe using as a beach coverup.

Runs small

I ordered a pair of these shorts in a size small. I have probably 20 pair of other UA shorts in size small and when I received this pair I could barely get them on. Very nice fabric!

Size is a bit small

I have 3 other UA speedpocket shorts --all size M. And this pair is quite tight for a M. I'd have sized up to a L had i known. These also don't have the inside liner and are a bit shorter than my favorite speedpockets, that are no longer available on the website :( Thankfully, these are longer than the other speedpockets that are still available. I'd say these fit right in between those 2 pairs both in size and length. I really like the pocket for my phone in the wasitband so at least there's that.

My go-to running shorts

Love these so much that i'm getting extra pairs. Fit true to size, fitted but not tight, smooth band, holds my phone without moving, zero rubbing or chafing. Great shorts all around.

Great Shorts for a Very Specific Body Type

I am 5'7", 130lbs with an athletic build and am generally a small. I love the speedpocket line in general, but everything runs on the small size so I sized up. The shorts fit very well though the waist, but they are uncomfortably tight in the thighs, which is a new trend I'm seeing with UA. Luckly the stiching is solid enough that I could make the split bigger. Also, the stiching in the crotch area is farther back than other shorts which pulls the front of the shorts back, creating an awkwardly tight fit that I am constantly adjusting. It also rubs together when running. The pockets are very nice and the fabric is crazy fast drying, but the fit is just too strange to make them a new favorite.
